These photoshoots are especially designed for babies under 12 days old. During these sessions we work with the baby to get some really special photos to document this amazing and fleeting time in your babies life.
The focus on this photo session is solely on the newborn baby
Family + Newborn only
The Fresh as a Daisy ‘family’ sessions are held at my studio and the focus for this shoot is the interaction between parents and their newborn baby plus also capturing your new baby on its own. This session is an excellent choice to document this really amazing time as a new family.
This session is also suitable for photos of siblings only with their new brother or sister or twins.
NEWBORN DOCUMENTARY SESSION
These sessions are done in your home and all I bring is my camera. This session is about photographing every day life. Casual, natural, moment based and no pressure to make sure everything is ‘perfect’. I create documentary style pictures that really represent the family and how you are right now. During this session I will document feeds, bath, cuddles, the nursery... whatever the morning brings I’ll be there to document that connection. This session is not about how beautiful your home is - whatever your home looks like it has meaning for you... I’m there for CONNECTION. I prefer babies for these sessions to be slightly older so they are more aware and can have that beautiful connection with mum and dad - usually around 3 - 6 weeks old. (I’m sorry I used the word ‘connection’ so much... but truly thats what these sessions are about). With these images you will be able to look back on them and think ‘this is how it really was...’.

CHILDREN SESSIONS (4 months +)
My children sessions are done outdoors on weeknights. They are held at a location of your choice, and take place approximately one hour prior to sunset, in order to get that beautiful sunset light. My sunset sessions are very popular, but I have also gone to gardens/parks and other locations, depending on what you are looking for. These sessions are weather dependent, of course, but I'm relatively flexible with rescheduling if need be :)
The other option if your child is still young (although I do prefer that all children for these sessions are sitting up unassisted) is to do something in the studio.
SMASH ME BABY! CAKE SMASH FIRST BIRTHDAY SESSION
These sessions are designed for babies celebrating their first birthday. It is held in my studio and I photograph your child smashing their first ever birthday cake. Its messy cakey fun! These photos look amazing framed as a collage and used for first birthday invitations.
MATERNITY DOCUMENTARY
Maternity photography is best done at around 35 - 36 weeks gestation. I aim to document the connection between yourself and partner and your soon to be baby. My maternity sessions are done outdoors on weeknights. They are held at a location of your choice, and take place approximately one hour prior to sunset, in order to get that beautiful sunset light. My sunset sessions are very popular, but I have also gone to gardens/alleys/farms and other locations, depending on what you are looking for. These sessions are weather dependent, of course, but I'm relatively flexible with rescheduling if need be :)
